Inheritance Law
Estate settlement
Settling an estate is often complex. This can have several causes. For example because the mutual relations are disturbed and consultation is not (properly) possible, your rights are violated, or cooperation with the settlement is withheld. We see this as a challenge to assist you, to advise you, to mediate where necessary and, if the case so requires, to litigate on your behalf. Our specialist knowledge in the field of businesses means that you are also at the right address for complex inheritance law issues.
Estate Planning
If you want to take good care of the people you leave behind when you are gone, it is wise to draw up a thorough will. Think about what should happen with your assets, who you designate as heirs (for example, you can disinherit legal heirs and appoint non-legal heirs), who you designate as guardian for your minor children and who you appoint as executor. A thorough and well thought-out will is also highly recommended to save (inheritance) tax. We are happy to advise you on the contents of such a will and assist you in recording the agreements correctly and appropriately. We work closely with notaries and tax consultants.
