The construction lawyers at Banning Attorneys at Law are involved in construction projects throughout the country. We combine our legal knowledge and experience with technical insight. Our construction lawyers act for private and public clients, for executing parties (contractors, installers and suppliers) and for consulting engineers and project managers. The construction industry traditionally works with standard contracts and general conditions, such as the UAV, UAV-GC, DNR, AVA and Standard RAW. We work a lot with these regulations in practice, but we also know when a standard solution is not enough and customization is required.

The lawyers of the Real Estate, Construction and Government Section are, of course, also experienced litigators in construction disputes. We try to resolve disputes cost-effectively, but if no settlement is reached, litigation is necessary. We successfully litigate at the Raad van Arbitrage voor de Bouw, the Nederlands Arbitrage Instituut (NAI) or the ordinary courts on liability issues, final settlements including additional and less work, performance disputes, delay discussions and insurance issues.
