Sophia mainly focuses on contract law and competition law. She advises and litigates on (the competition law aspects of) commercial contracts, more specifically distribution, agency, franchise and collaboration agreements. Sophia also advises on cartel agreements, state aid and abuse of a dominant position, and she supervises notifications of mergers and acquisitions. Sophia also assists companies with advice on various European regulations, more specifically in the areas of product and packaging requirements, consumer rights and unfair trade practices.

Sophia mainly works for medium to large companies and trade associations, which are active in various sectors, such as automotive, retail, healthcare and (organic) food. Sophia is driven and likes to tackle complex issues. By translating legal content into practical and appropriate solutions, and always proactively thinking along with her, she tries to relieve clients as much of their worries as possible.
